Helping Local Artists

Hello followers! i just wanted to take a minute to show you what I’ve been doing to help a few local artists. First up is Josh Ripple. He’s a great glass artist that was initially looking for vinyl stickers to mask/stencil on his logo onto glass with a sandblaster. My mom has a cricut and I could have looked into making those, but I suggested trying a 3D printed stencil. I did this before seeing his logo and dimensions required and it proved to be a bit of a challenge. I’ve been wanting to attempt a mask for my own art projects but never got around to it and I am glad to be given a nudge to attempt it. I haven’t heard if it’s going to hold up or wrap around the intended object, but I will try to update folks with the results and possible future projects with Josh.

Next is an artist I’ve admired since stepping into the art world a few years back, Kelsey Kowalski over at Acrylic and Mind Trip. I love her creations and free use of color and imagination. She has an art show tomorrow with a Tim Burton theme and requested help making some digital prints. With the extra space around the boarder I created an information card that contains a QR code that goes to her FB art page. I also provided a metal dye-sublimation print to show her how her art can look on chromaluxe aluminum picture panels. This is a service I am capable of offering to my artist friends at a discount to help get their art out into the world in an unique manner.

Last mention is Daniel Sedra D’mente over at Sedra D’mente Natural. I’ve yet to meet Daniel face to face. He reached out to see if I could help with some digital art prints of his for a show tomorrow as well. He provided two pictures that I digitally cropped out and added a blurred out enlarged image in the background of the two art pieces. He also choose sizes that provided extra boarder margins that I quickly threw together an informational handout with a QR code to his art page.

Stay tuned for more posts of my art coming soon. I have a couple pieces I just finished and some being worked on now. Also some news about upcoming art shows I am happy to be a part of!
