This is the best lithophane cube I’ve made so far. Only one of the panels have some slight defects. I finally got around to designing a lid for my cube. It fits well, but the walls/sides are a little thin, so I will probably rework that a bit. But it does the job of holding the panes and arms in place to make a solid unit. These pictures are of Amy Stevens who was my manager at Marriott for the last couple of months. She died last week and this is my gift to her son. A keepsake that shouldn’t fade with time and should help him remember his late mother. I designed this in tinkercad.com from scratch. I didn’t use any other models as examples. I knew what I wanted/needed and did trial and error till I got things tweaked just right. I am pretty proud of the meaningful item I am capable of producing in my own home.
