Screen Printing Update

I don’t know if any of you have been following along with my screen printing adventures over here. Thought I would give a little update on how it’s treating me. I’ve learned that too thick of photo emulsion isn’t a good thing. I’ve learned to take the lamp cover off of my 500w work light. I’ve learned that too much pressure will just wash away your intended design. I was successful in burning a test screen, rinsing, and even pushing some ink through the screen! It’s amazing to see my art go from digital world to paper. There is still plenty to be learned, but I learn best from my mistakes. Here are some shots of the test screen, and test print proving that it’s possible to get your art on paper economically, just takes a little time and knowledge is all.
